Sculpture in Limestone

A bird-human figure carved into the side of a limestone rock.

Above and Below:  A small anthropomorphic bird figure shown refitted to the top of the same limestone rock, from which it appears to have been carved.  This is one of several pieces microscopically examined by rock art expert Dr. Arsen Faradzhev during a site visit in April 2005 and determined to be the product of human workmanship.
